ABOUT US

 

Cyndy Murray: Cyndy is originally from Michigan, but moved to New York with her husband and lived north of the city for 11 years prior to moving back to west Michigan.  She works full time as a cancer genetic counselor, but loves the outdoors, gardening, hiking, camping, traveling, and trying new things.  She and Michael decided that when they moved back to Michigan, they would try to grow much of their own food with permaculture and biointensive techniques.

Michael Murray: Michael is also originally from Michigan and earned his undergraduate degree in the pre-medical sciences.  Instead of attending medical school, he decided to switch directions and go to culinary school instead.  He worked as a country club chef outside New York City for 12 years and now owns his own pasta business in west Michigan.  He is a Certified Executive Chef and also teaches culinary classes at the local community college.
